The first day of spring produced an exceptionally beautiful Saturday here in WA. I think the recorded high was 74 degrees - perfect! :)
We started our morning with a trip to the newly renovated Kirkland library to check out The Harmonica Pocket. We were honoring Dr. Seuss's birthday so the whole concert was focused on his books put to music. Caiden seemed to really enjoy the show and was pretty captivated for the whole hour. And the best part? It was FREE! :D Here are a few pics of the performers.
Then that afternoon after Caiden woke up from his nap, we piled into the car and drove out to Wallace Falls. It's about 45 minutes northeast from where we live on the way to Steven's Pass. Sadly, by the time we got there, we didn't have too much time to spend on the trails since we were pressed for time to get Caiden back in time for dinner and bed. But I did really enjoy the little bit we did get to see! And Caiden loved walking around, picking up rocks and seeing the river.
