Caiden's birthday festivities kicked off with a hunt for Easter eggs and his basket! We were positively cracking up over his gasps of surprise each time he found a new egg. Tee hee! I almost wished I hid more eggs when I saw what a fun time he was having looking for them. :) Summer gave me a great idea for filling the plastic eggs - we filled them with cheerios! He was very excited when he figured out that was what was inside of them! He also called the plastic eggs "shake shakes" because in our music class we play with eggs that make sounds when you shake them. :)
Hunting for Eggs
Next up was the hunt for the Easter basket. I could not wait for him to find his basket! He had fallen in love with this baby duck toy we saw at our weekly playgroup. I realized that he would be so excited to have one of his own, so I went on a hunt to track one down. With the aid of some very helpful folks on the web, I managed to track one down in excellent condition on eBay. :D
