20 Weeks

Man - I feel like I *just* put up my 16 week photos! Time certainly is flying by! I can't believe I'm at the halfway mark already! Over the last couple of weeks, I have definitely been feeling the baby move a lot more! B can't feel the movement yet, but I'm sure it won't be long before he can too!

I had my 20 week ultrasound yesterday, and baby is doing great! Estimated weight is 11oz and baby is about the size of a banana now. All measurements are right on track and heartbeat is 151 beats per minute. I really wanted to post some video from the ultrasound, but I am having a really hard time figuring out how to convert the files. (Anyone know how to easily covert .vob to something like .wmv?) But at least B finally got to see the baby - yay!!! :D If I can get it figured out, I'll post some video clips so you can see too.

It is definitely becoming a little more difficult to do things like get up from a seated or reclining position. I also can't hold Caiden for very long since there is a lot less space to hitch him on my hip. I've also started relying more on my maternity pants which drive me nuts since like last time, they constantly slip down and leave me looking like a 16 yr old boy with droopy drawers. Ug. I think I need to find some better pants that actually stay up!

I think I might want to have some maternity pictures taken this time around as I am pretty sure this will be my last pregnancy. Knowing that this will be it leaves me with mixed feelings. On one hand, I feel relieved that my body will be able to go back to "normal." But I'm also saddened that this is the last time I'll feel and see these amazing changes my body goes thru as I grow and protect a new life. I keep reminding myself that I won't experience these incredible feelings again, so I need to cherish it now. I think photos would make for a great memento. :)

So I suspect Caiden still doesn't quite understand that he is going to be a big brother, but we keep on talking to him about it. Hopefully he'll start to catch on soon, otherwise he'll be in for a big surprise! LOL!

Enough rambling...on to the photos!
