So when you've got a bazillion essential oils, what's a girl to do? Invite her gal pal over and have a fun night of making bath salts, that's what! :) My good friend Heather came over last night for some much needed girl time. :) After spending an hour or so catching up, we got down to business and started creating our very own bath salts! I was inspired by my sister-in-law Amanda to try this project, but I've been putting off the actual doing for months! And as usual, I don't know WHY I put this off cuz it was a ton of FUN! Heather and I had a blast mixing and matching our essential oils to create some heavenly smelling blends. It was ridiculously easy to make the salt blends and we ended up with 5 different varieties between the two of us. I can't wait to do this again! And - I can't wait to take a bath to indulge in these new creations!!

From the looks of the bottles and mixing bowls it appears there was alot of merry making in the making.

Be sure to try to keep a log of which ones kept their smell. I have found that after some of my oils get 'older' I need to add more to get the same potentness of scent. This also goes with when it is added to the water, sometimes when you add it to the bath, your smell completely goes away. I've got a few reference books next time you are in town if you want to check them out. Looks like you two did a great job! Enjoy them!
