Mama's Medicine

During my pregnancy with Ezra, I got to the point where I just could not stomach the horse pill sized prenatal vitamins. After doing some research online, I discovered that two Flintstones vitamins could be substituted instead. So I picked up the gummy variety and happily took my vitamins each morning. Eventually, Caiden noticed I was eating something that looked suspiciously like a treat. I told him that he couldn't have any because it was Mama's medicine. He understood that it wasn't for him and let it be, tho every once in awhile he would comment that those vitamins were "Mama's medicine."

Fast forward to early October. It's no secret that we are a candy corn obsessed household. Every year, B puts the kibosh on bringing any candy corn into the house, and (fortunately) it always somehow finds its way in. Of course we don't need for Caiden to get addicted to these yummy bits of sugary goodness, so we generally wouldn't eat them in front of him. Well, of course we aren't that well behaved and eventually he saw me eating them. But apparently we have somehow managed to train our boy well. Instead of going into his usual "I want that, I want that, I want that," he deduced that the candy corn was Mama's Medicine.

Now I ask you, is it so wrong that I simply didn't see fit to correct him? :D

I guess it all depends....As far as Saffron, any adult drink.....Soda, Gatorade, or any other beverage we don't want her to have we say "Hot", we do allow her to taste it, but with the carbonation, she does not like it anyways.....so if "Mommy's Medicine" works, go for it!
