I am pretty convinced that I have the best husband and that Caiden has the best daddy in the world. Day in and day out, B does such an incredible job taking care of us both. Not only is he providing us a way for me to stay home and raise our kids, but he also comes home each evening ready to dedicate his time and attention to Caiden. I know it can't be easy switching gears from work mode to daddy mode after a long day, but he finds a way to do it each and every day. I am also eternally grateful for the tremendous role he plays in day to day child rearing duties - everything from changing diapers, to managing bath time and bedtime, and being an incredible role model and mentor to Caiden. We are so lucky to have this wonderful man in our lives. :)As for Father's Day itself, this year included a very heartwarming service at our church. Unfortunately I was unable to participate in the service as I was volunteering in the nursery. B was able to attend tho and really enjoyed it. :) Afterward, we went home and B opened up his gift - a DVD of a now defunct TV show called The Loop. Once Caiden was down for his nap, B promptly sat down and watched several episodes. After Caiden woke up from his nap, we got to have a Skype call with B's folks and Amanda! It was a lot of fun catching up with them. That evening, we went to Red Robin for dinner and stuffed ourselves silly! Overall, it was a pretty low-key but enjoyable day.
