G-Ma & G-Dad Duchek Visit (part 1)

Grandparents Duchek made their annual trek out west to visit us this past June. They arrived late in the afternoon on Friday, June 19th. After a couple weeks on the road (they journeyed out to Yosemite on their way to see us), we thought they might enjoy a home cooked meal. We all enjoyed a nice meal and started to get caught up on their travel adventures!

The next day Rob joined us for a trip down to the Museum of Flight (also known as Rob's place of worship). We always love joining Rob on trips to the museum since he becomes our own personal tour guide! We figured Caiden would really enjoy seeing all of the airplanes, as just the day before he made it obvious how excited he was about airplanes! We were driving around that afternoon and there was a small airplane flying around the area and trailing a banner. Once Caiden spotted it, he started pumping his little legs, wildly making the sign for airplane, and shouting "DA DA! DA DA!" (I so wish I had the video camera!) He did this every single time the plane looped back around into view. We had a fun time touring the museum and the planes (and helicopters) on display outside. Sadly, we didn't take any pictures for some strange reason, so you'll just have to use your imagination. :P
