Our Seattle summer visitor season was kicked off by my sister Cathy! I was super excited to have her come and see us and had been counting down the days! Of course her visit was much too short, but we had a great time while she was here!
Thanks to good trip timing, Aunt Cathy got to see how much Caiden loves his swim class. She even got the chance to hang out in the pool with us!

As per usual, Cathy brought along some blisteringly hot weather, so we tried to keep cool on Thursday afternoon as much as possible! She and Caiden got some good quality reading time in that day!

We also made sure to get a trip in to visit one of her favorite places - Pike Place Market. She loves loves LOVES all of the flowers that are on display and SO cheap to bring home! We had lunch on the waterfront and enjoyed a serenade by a traditional bagpiper.

Later Friday evening, we invited Colin and Rob over for a BBQ and margaritas on the patio! Fun times were had by all. :)

I also made it my mission to bring Cathy into the world of Facebook. She had an account already, but never really used it. I spent much of the weekend helping her get used to Facebook and encouraging her to find old friends she hadn't see or talked to in years! It was a lot of fun being her personal FB guide. Now she is an old pro at it!
On her last day in town, we all went on a bike ride on the Sammamish/Burke-Gilman bike trail. We rode all the way to the top of Lake Washington and were treated to gorgeous views of the water!

Later that evening, she treated me to a lovely dinner and we had a blast just hanging out. I wished she could've stayed much longer!!!
