What's Up?

It's been a little while since the last post. No baby here yet tho! :) We've generally kept ourselves busy with continuing baby prep, hanging out with friends, shopping and enjoying some rather spring-like lovely weather here in the Pacific NW.

I am now working from home until the baby comes. It's a nice feeling knowing I'm only 5 min away from the hospital. :) I did, however, have to pack up my cube at work. Since my office is moving to Seattle (grr) while I'm gone, I had to pack early. That also meant we had to bring home the futon - yet another item to stuff into the garage. :D

This past weekend was pretty low key but fun! We watched a couple of movies (a rarity in this household!) - An Inconvenient Truth and Reign Over Me. Vastly different subject matter compared to one another, but I enjoyed the movies and would recommend them both.

And we bought a new camera!! After a week of pretty thorough research and lots of talking, we decided to go with a digital SLR camera. We started off with the plan to replace our current point and shoot with a new point and shoot. But some of our requirements included a camera that could take pictures quickly (the all important reaction/in the moment shots!) and give us photos that weren't grainy in lower light settings. After talking to the folks in the camera shop, we learned that the point and shoot wouldn't accomplish those goals. So the SLR it was to be!! And I LOVE it!!



We had fun on Saturday night taking random pictures of stuff around the house. And of course, the cats were our primary subjects. :) Here are some cute pics of Sienna.





On Sunday, our friends Heather and Tamir invited us over to their place for dinner. Damn those 2 know how to put on a feast! We need to learn to fast before going over there for a meal. :) We also introduced them to a certain Eddie Izzard. :D

All in all a nice and relaxing weekend. I'm enjoying every one last of 'em cuz I know they are dwindling fast! :D
