I just got back from my weekly doctor visit, and there are no obvious signs of anything happening just yet. :(
My cervix is still "at the back" and is still about 50% effaced, or softened. I'm dilated 1, maybe 2 cm. The upside is that the baby's head is pretty low and appears to be pushing up against part of the bag of waters. :)
Unfortunately I can't be induced due to my surgical history with the fibroid removal. Going from "0 to 60" would put me at a higher risk for uterine rupture. So, just in case things don't move along on their own, I have a c-section scheduled on 4.8.
There is still an excellent chance that I'll go into labor on my own before then, but now there is a back-up plan on the calendar just in case.
