The nursery is quickly coming together! After doing a lot of research reading my Baby Bargains book, I narrowed down our top picks. I started surfing Craigslist last week and found some great pieces! We managed to snap them up while the gettin' was good! We now have a crib (made by Pali), glider/rocker with ottoman (made by Dutailier), and dresser that will also act as a changing table. Brand new, these would have been ridiculously expensive and very likely entirely out of our budget. But thanks to CL, we were able to get everything for $500. There are some perks to living in the land of got rich quick Microsoft-folk. 
I can't believe how quickly the room is starting to really look like "the baby's room." We aren't going to assemble the crib just yet, but the dresser is in place, and I'm making good use of the rocker downstairs for the time being. 
We also purchased 2 big bags of 2nd hand baby clothes that were in GREAT shape! So lots of laundry was done this weekend as well!
