Last year we
started the tradition of coloring Easter eggs! I learned that one dozen simply wasn't enough, so this year Caiden got to decorate 24 eggs! We also decorated on a weekend this year so that B could participate too! I stuck with the regular ol' dye set and didn't get any crazy fancy neon colors or Disney themed stuff. I also discovered that using mason jars is way cooler than mugs! Altho, getting the eggs out of the jars proved to be a little bit challenging. Next year we'll have to use the wide mouth jars! Lastly, I had the foresight to boil the eggs a few days in advance, so we didn't have to worry about taking time to cook and cool them.
Caiden had a great time picking which colors to dye his eggs and deciding how long to keep them in there. We also used the wax crayon to make special eggs for each of us. Ezra napped during the whole process, but we still made a special egg for him!
