Spooooon!

They say every day brings new surprises. Well Sunday sure had a good one! B was finishing up preparations on the dinner I'd started so that I could get Caiden's food heated up and then we could all eat together. Over the last few days, I'd occasionally given Caiden a spoon to bang around while we helped him eat his meal. So as I was bustling around the kitchen with Caiden on my hip, I handed him a spoon to keep him occupied. As I was moving him over to the table, I had his bowl of food in my other hand. I paused for a moment and he promptly stuck his spoon in his bowl of food, scooped up a bite and stuck it in his mouth! And then he did it again and again and again! It was as if he'd been doing this for ages!! I could hardly believe it! Fortunately we quickly thought to grab the video camera, so that we could capture this moment and share it with you. We've got a smart little man on our hands!!
