Sometimes, a lack of sleep makes you do strange things.
I was considering advertising the stupidest thing I did each week on a new blog called "52 Stupid Things." Then I realized that was a pretty good stupid idea, and that I'd have to write about starting a blog as an entry. The loop of stupidity was then primped to pump away the hours, boring you to death.
Another contender for the list was this little gem. See Photo 1 below, as the exhibit for what Lisa found when she came into the kitchen a few weeks ago. No, Caiden had not been consumed by a small black monolith. No, his little curly locks have not morphed into USB cables.
Photo 1. Caiden's exer-saucer.
Did I mention that I totally need an exer-saucer for work? And then I can add all my doo-dads and tools and charging cradles for my 3 different PDAs to the ring. That would be awesome. It's totally not a stupid idea. Please! It's no worse than this commercial from Jack-in-the-Box
Anyway - how we got here was another of my 52 Stupid Things. I was carrying both the boy and the new Drobo downstairs. Each had a place to go. So with the exer-saucer taken, the boy had to go somewhere.
Oh, a Drobo is a little storage robot that is a bit like a redundant hard drive array. Still not bored? Read on, fair explorer: http://www.drobo.com/products/drobo.php
Caiden, alas, found himself balanced neatly on top of the tower-PC stashed in our family room corner. For some reason, I couldn't get him connected to the firewire port on the green PC.
Photo 2. Balanced perfectly on Swampthing (that's what L called this particular PC)
