Snowpocolypse 2010

For the last several months, the weathermen have been threatening us with a La Nina winter. This essentially means we could very well have a repeat of 2008's snowy craziness. I am so thankful that B had the foresight to swap out to our snow tires on the TT two days before the snow hit! Now bear in mind, this is Seattle. A snowstorm here does not mean 12-24 inches. More like 2-6 inches. Yes, I know. It is pathetic. This little ad from a local insurance company pretty much sums up how people around here react to snow. We got something between that 2 and 6 inches and the city pretty much shut down on Nov 22nd and 23rd. B stayed home and worked out of the house. Me and the kids stayed put. It's not so much we were fearful to drive, it's the other idiots you gotta watch out for. Case in point - check out this little video gem.

ANYwho, while I was obsessively checking delivery updates for my packages (UPS and FedEx are a collective bunch of wimps), Caiden got the chance to get outside and play in the snow on our patio before the temps dropped down to the teens. We got him bundled up in the coat I picked up last year for a steal ($7!!), hat and mittens. His favorite activity? Eating the snow. Lucky for him, there isn't any threat of the dreaded yellow snow!

(In case you were wondering, I stayed cozy and warm inside and took pictures thru the patio door!!)
