House Update

Can you believe it has been 7 weeks since the infamous water incident!? Yes, we have been living in various stages of reconstruction for the last 7 loooooong weeks. But it is nearly over!!! Yay!!!!
Here is what has been going on during that time:

• Kitchen floor and garage ceiling dried out.
• Kitchen cabinets refinished
• Under sink laminate replaced
• Wood panel next to dishwasher replaced
• Garage ceiling repaired
• Kitchen floor sanded and refinished and resealed
• Living room floor resealed (we had to pack up the main floor and move out for this process)
• Furniture put back
• Trim replaced

All we have left is for the trim to get repainted and for the fridge to get some minor adjustments which should be completed this week. Finally! We will have the house back to ourselves!!! I can't wait!!!

....well....

We won't be home free for long cuz we're gonna be getting the house listed for sale as soon as we get a few minor paint repairs taken care of. So that will be a whole new set of challenges what with living in mostly staged house! But the sooner we get it listed, the sooner we will hopefully be able to sell it!!
