If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want -- good or bad. When you're finished, if you so desire, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

I thought of you today while at work...I was making my way from the kitchen to my desk when I came across another pregnant coworker. I'm much further along than this person and when she asked me how I'm doing...I wanted to tell the truth but I fudged and made things out to be more pleasant than they really are. I didn't want to scare her or make her feel like 'oh crap, I have THAT to look forward too?!'
Then it occurred to me...that maybe you did the same with me when I'd ask how things were going for you! Oh how the tables have turned. Maybe you were always honest, who knows!
First time I met Lisa was at Walcamp - I was a chaperone and you were in 7th grade. My assignment for you was to take you out in the woods to write a story about nature. Immediately Lisa climbed into a tree to get into the mood! What had I gotten myself into, trying to corral a bunch of preteens! But it all turned out well, she didn't fall out, in fact she became best friends with my daughter! Lisa you continue to amaze me!
