I am a lame blogger

See, I knew this would happen. I am a lame blogger. I do really well with updating for a few weeks, and then...nothing but crickets on my page. I've been equally bad keeping up on email. Also - apologies for the recent reclusive entries. Just have been needing to get some thoughts out of my head.

So part of the reason for the Entry Famine of '07 has to do with this summer being really pretty darn quiet. B and I haven't been doing much, and really fell off track with our "get out and do something" weekends. That's mostly my fault as I have also been feeling antisocial more often than not lately.

So what have we been doing? Well, a large chunk of time has been devoted to the ol' TV. Lots of Buffy/Angel marathons on various weekends. I've also been catching up on Frasier and The Wonder Years thanks to my DVR. We've done dinner with friends on a few occasions and attended a couple of parties/BBQs. Just a lot of generally low-key stuff.

Some recent good news includes my new client assignment being all Chicago accounts. So I'm hoping that will mean some more frequent trips back home. Speaking of trips to Chicago, we are going to be back in town for a mini-vacation in mid-October. Definitely looking forward to spending some time with the family! I can't believe I haven't been home since Christmas!
